It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Johan de Klerk, Johnny, at the age of 72. He passed away on the 12th of September 2020 in Tzaneen.
Johan was born in Bethal on the 7th of March 1948, but spent many happy childhood days in Haenertsburg and Tzaneen. After studying at RAU he spent time living in Bloemfontein, Kroonstad and Pretoria after which he returned to Tzaneen where he felt most at home.
Johan was active in the local community and especially so in the bowling community.
He leaves behind many beloved friends and family members including his son, Stefan, daughter Tessa and granddaughter, Jasmin. He is remembered as a most loving father and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held at Tzaneen Bowls Club on the 14th of October at 11am. There will be an opportunity for friends and family who want do so, to say a few words in remembrance.
